Lady is described as a magical engine... in more ways than one!
She's a mysterious engine nobody can figure out. Often found working high in the Cliffstone Mountains, marking her home at Baseline Quarry, legend has it that she has powers only engines could dream off. But for most of the time, she's just a beautifully-built tank engine working at the quarry.
She speaks and works in a rather calm manner, and gives off a very mysterious energy when all is put together. She is often turned to by other engines in need in difficult situations, where she is often prepared with advice the engines don’t always understand at first, but are soon to discover her way of getting others on track!

Adding to her mystery, Lady is one of the few engines to require a special kind of coal...Island of Sodor coal!
