Leonard is by far one of the BIGGEST excavators you’ll find in the country. He's the slag quarry mining excavator...he’s in charge of digging all the dirty, solidified slag into Dip the Dump Truck.
Leonard may seem like a big bully at first with his one eye and gigantic size, but he’s quite friendly when you get past his appearance; he’s just got a rough and tough way of doing things!
Despite his ways, he carefully goes about his work digging up the solidified slag for use in cement, bricks, and other important materials. He's the boulder you just can't hurry at the Steelworks; a calm, immovable force...bad news for impatient Dip!

Leonard got his start at an old strip mine before coming to work in Bluthsburg! When his work was over and he had nowhere to work, Sarah Steele gladly brought him in!
